The assessment of the protein profiles and oxidant/antioxidat status in conjunctival Brucella melitensis Rev1 vaccinated sheep

The most frequently used vaccine to avoid brucellosis in small ruminants the Rev1 conjunctival Brucella melitensis vaccine. aim of this study was investigate effects B.melitensis Revl on total protein, albumin, globulin levels, protein profiles oxidant/antioxidant status sheep. Ten sheep were as material for purpose. bloods taken before vaccination negative control. sera obtained one month after administration single dose experimental materials. spectrophotometric method estimated antioxidant capacity (TAS), oxidant (TOS). Protein profile determined by sodium-dodecyl-sulphate native-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis methods. It that levels increased slightly sero positive (P>0.05). There no difference both band densities albumin decreased but gamma vaccination. TAS significantly (P<0.05), TOS In conclusion, Rev-1 thought be safe use prevent Brucellosis, addition can reduce oxidative stress.
